Upcoming Workshops:

Crochet with Shelley Husband
Shelley will be joining us for some exciting crochet workshops between 20th-23rd September 2023. You will need to know basic crochet stitches to attend the workshops, however there are a number of options from competent beginner to advanced.

Tickets will go on sale soon.

Sept 20th - Granny Square Academy 2. Shelley will be taking us through some patterns from her latest book and helping you to increase your skill level. Suitable for competent beginners.

Sept 21st - Siren's Atlas. This workshop will focus on some patterns from Shelley's book and is aimed at competent beginners to intermediate level.

Sept 22nd - Mayan Blanket. Start your Mayan adventure as we work on the large central square of Shelley's pattern. Suitable for intermediate level and above.

Sept 23rd - Elevate Your Crochet. Take your crochet skills to the next level with loads of hints and tips from Shelley. Suitable for intermediate level and above.

Copies of all Shelley's books will be available to purchase at all sessions, or can be pre-ordered from us. A small selection of BWM cottons and wool will also be available to purchase during the workshops. As always, pre-orders are welcome.


Need to learn the basics first? We offer beginner crochet lessons for individuals or groups up to 4 people. Please contact us to discuss how we can tailor a package to suit you.

Craft Retreats

Due to health reasons, this retreat has been postponed until Spring 2024. New dates and details will be listed once confirmed.


Our next Craft Retreat has been booked for March 1st-3rd 2024 and will be at Gold Creek, ACT. Details are included in our most recent  newsletter.


For maximum flexibility this Retreat is via Day Passes, not all inclusive.

Full day of yarn dyeing at Black Wattle Alpaca Farm,


Brioche Knitting,  Boro Stitching, Needle Felting, Patchwork, and some crochet workshops.

Craft Retreats

From January 2022 we are thrilled to be offering craft retreats in the stunning Victorian countryside.

Our next retreat will run from 20th-22nd May, in Dartmouth, Victoria. Some workshops will be available during the retreat (yarn dyeing with Pinky, Alcohol Ink with Bliss Creations, patchwork, crochet) and the rest of the time is for working on your own projects.

The price per person includes accommodation, meals and hall hire. Transport to/from the venue is not included.

Per person shared accommodation: $290
Per person private accommodation: $400

One extra night of accommodation and breakfast (if required)
per person shared accommodation: $70
per person private accommodation: $110

Day Passes are also available if you cannot attend the full retreat. A Day Pass includes morning/afternoon tea, lunch, and hall hire, $80 per person, per day.
